This peer-led grief support group meets the last Friday of every month from 7 to 8:30pm. Volunteer coordinator Marge Mason leads the group with the help of other qualified volunteers. They offer conversation and compassion to those struggling with the death of a loved one. In addition to her own personal experience, Marge brings knowledge regarding the grief process gleaned from a number of workshops, training seminars and other resources. While not formally trained as bereavement counselors, the volunteer facilitators create an on-going, safe environment for all to share their individual stories as they rebuild their lives embracing their “new” normal. All adults are welcome.
